A short journey through my career:
After graduating Harvard with honors, Morgan Stanley hired me and my “Wall Street” career began. 38 years later, I’m still a fanatical investment banker and deal junkie. I’ve had several stints in corporate development at Protection One and private equity with Brentwood Associates and Hancock Park Associates. I was also the founder and architect of the financial sponsor coverage group at Houlihan Lokey.
Where I’m at now:
At Anomalie, my main focus is on business development and deal execution. My greatest joy is changing lives, especially when an entrepreneur sells their beloved business for an obscene multiple and wants to adopt me.
What gets me revved up:
Long distance swimming with fins and paddles. The Cleveland Browns and Guardians. Springsteen Live in concert. Setting and meeting goals. Networking with diverse people. Eating and talking about keto.
Favorite road trip:
The iconic Pacific Coast Highway with its jaw-dropping ocean views at every turn. Hearst Castle, seals, Monterey, Carmel...(No wonder we pay such high state taxes.)
Preferred traveling music:
I came from the Heartland, so Heartland Classic Rock is in my DNA. The Stones, Petty, Who, Green Day, Greta Van Fleet and of course, Bruce.
What makes me an Anomalist:
I’m an anomaly because I intentionally spell “Anomalie” wrong.” I have a passion for diverse life experiences. And strive to always live outside my “Comfort Zone.”
